First for script, I have made my own script, but my group did not choose it. Finally they choose Yao Yao ‘s . My script is about criminal caused by one night stand in China.

  About the film my job is Effect. I use premier and AE. But you see there is a litter effect is that film. So this report I just want to say something about the word effect in my view.

  Truth is the basic principle of artistic creation, “It did not like the real life and life itself is the same, are not like real science as to verify and restore.” Movies make people dream, a good movie audiences do not want to wake up, but no one is willing to dream of their common people, scene thing. Digital effects make this dream is even more interesting by digital special effects, audiences have not seen the film created, and no thought of the dream. As a means of filmmaking, digital effects creation must follow the basic law of art – true. From the perspective of human physiology, the human eye to see the overall relationship of things, it is precisely with the overall understanding of the relationship of such objects do exist to get the conclusion. This understanding of people gradually formed the true feelings of the material world, there is the ability to identify with this review, identify and experience all around, and the formation of law. 1.Experimentation and exploration. Ideas, My group is the group for shop.I am the camera man.For this documentary i think it’s only ask and answer. so my job is just shoot the whole process and try my best to let the camera  steadly, although we have the tripod. I think the sequence  should be from outside to the inside . So I   first panoramic shot then shot the road slowly move to the shot, then shot the shop closely, just like other  documentary. In the shop we prepare more than 10 questions to the shop’s owner.But I think that questions is easy to anwser although it good to the elder, it dont have any nourishment. The shop is boring may be this documentry should be boring .Now I have no idea to make the documentry like this more intresting. Only I can do is next time we prepare well shot this just like shot a stroy.

2. Sources. I am very a shamed that my classmate told  me that we need to do a documentary until the day before which day we go to the small town. our group’s aim is the shop and we prepare many qustions, after this questions we can get the sources and informations which we need like after u retired what will happen to the shop? The owner told us the shop will disappered. why the shop will disappered there is only one shop in the twon. The owner tell us some big supermarket will  instead of this small shop. I’ve never been that twon but from the shop i can see there is only a few people in the twon and everyone is friend with each other.

3 Inspiration. The sources of motivation i really dont know my job is for shot shot and shot,Sunny told me shop  and I said ok ,shop.

4.Process In thos documentry my job is shot, and I need watch more documentry then to konw the angles of  shotting. And from this documentry i konw how to do a film and how to ask qustions in a documentry.Maneuverability when the documentary was filmed, much to require the photographer to be very flexible. Records, records, that is with the feature film is completely different, it can not be as feature films, as every detail in advance to design, documentaries, where there is no story. Looking back to see if we have seen a documentary (not including those with the so-called Chinese characteristics, the documentary), they more of a record of an event, or the fragments of an event, or the record of a person. Documentary does not paraded, you can not pre-design, you can only be to the scene, from the perspective of the audience what is interesting to see what is on the beat. Do not forget, documentaries that tell no story, it is interesting is the most important, only the viewers find interesting, before reading through the policy, so you have to find ways to make your stuff to attract viewers. However, this is more complete at a later clip, because we can not design, so shot, we often only start, always-on, until the latter part of the clip when you come back screen material.

My name is Xie Chao, I am an overseas student come from China. This is my first time studying in UK. After my graduated, I decide to continue my Masters studying in Coventry University. I studied editing in China for 3 years, now I studying media production in Coventry university, because I want to make my video editing as better as possible, and now, I found that I am not good enough my major, because my editing skills still not good enough, so I want to study media production in UK, and improve my skills, because it can make me more powerful and useful when I working in the future.
Now I am studying Media Production in Coventry University, it is same as my old major in China. But I still feel I learned a lot new knowledge from it, and it also make me feel if I want better in my future, there still has a lots more I need to learn. This is the reason I want to continue my MA studying in UK.

I am confidence, and I believe I am good at edting. My aim is to be a editor, and I was studied it 3 years.
I really like editing, because I like edit whatever I want. According study media production, I can find that the deferent between Chinese media and UK media.

I am lazy to plan something what I have to do, and sometimes I felt I can’t find a good idea to do it. Sometimes I know what to do, but I don’t know how to do it and how to plan it.

It is a really good opportunity for me, according study in UK, it makes me know that how to find out a good idea by myself, I can touch students who come from everywhere of the world, I can know each others’ culture according the communicate each other. The teacher also can teach us more interesting things that I never hear it before. I can indite everything what I want.

In China, working about media has high pressure, and there are too many TV channels in China. Editor maybe can not find a job what is my favorite in Chinese TV station, and it really tired

There are three problems-I need to learn how to communicate with other people; how to find a good idea; and how to improve my skills.
I intend to address this weakness by:
1). tell people my mind and share my idea, discuss it with people.
2). watch more movies, open my mind, and find what I want.
3). edit more video, because practice makes perfect.
